As soon as he became aware Mr Jefferson declared a personal interest in planning
application 7/2012/2038 as the objector to the planning application was personally
known to him.

There were no questions, petitions or deputations of a general nature relating to the
business of the <strong>Committee</strong>.
52/12 Site Inspections
Paul Haggin, Team leader <strong>Development</strong> Management advised Members of a proposed
site inspection at -
Hollin Head Wood, Canny Hill, Newby Bridge (7/2012/5123)
Conversion of existing garage with storage above into domestic dwelling and provision
of septic tank
For those Members of the <strong>Committee</strong> who could not attend the site inspection at
Backbarrow Ironworks (7/2011/5621) last month, he proposed a further tour of the site
on the 9 May 2012.
Members agreed the proposals.
Decided:
to conduct site inspections on 9 May 2012 at:
Backbarrow Ironworks, Backbarrow; and
Hollin Head Wood, Canny Hill, Newby Bridge.
53/12 Planning Applications with Public Speaking
In accordance with the Authority’s Policy for Public Speaking at Meetings, the public
participated at this stage in the <strong>meeting</strong>. Details of those attending in respect of specific
applications are set out in Annex 1 to these minutes.
