Semi-Private Tutoring: Spelling & Phonics<br />
“Sound it out!” How many times have we heard that? But what if you don’t know<br />
the sound? Sounds put together form words, words put together form a languagelanguage<br />
is communication and requires reading these “sounds” in written form. Bring<br />
in homework for specialized help. Class limited to no more than five students.<br />

Students will learn how to increase their vocabulary and content use, grammar rules<br />
will be reviewed, and specialized help will be given. Students are required to bring a<br />
dictionary to class. Class limited to no more than five students.<br />

Creative Drawing (Ages 9 and Up)<br />
Using traditional and innovative techniques, students will learn the basics of creative<br />
drawing including portrait and figure drawing. Other topics include shadowing, charcoal<br />
and pastel, and perspective. *$5 material fee payable in class. Bring an artist’s pad<br />
to each class.<br />

Dream of playing the guitar? It can be a reality with our introductory class. We’ll start<br />
from the basics and learn chords, notes, patterns, and read music in a variety of styles.<br />
Students must bring their guitar to every class. *$8 material fee payable in class.<br />
