Belly Dancing<br />

Tone your torso, foster self-confidence,<br />

or entice your partner with this ancient<br />

art form. Julie Raber teaches the classical<br />

Egyptian Belly Dance which includes<br />

basic finger-cymbal techniques. Come<br />

and enjoy this attractive and feminine<br />

expression of graceful dance. This class<br />

will conclude with a belly dance recital.<br />

Julie Raber has instructed the art of Belly<br />

Dancing for over 20 years, and Lydia<br />

Lopez has studied extensively under Julie’s<br />

teachings.<br />

Zumba<br />

The latest exercise phenomenon sweeping<br />

the nation has arrived at LAHC! Zumba<br />

is a fantastic and dynamic core workout.<br />

Zumba uses moves throughout the class<br />

that require high control of the core<br />

muscles of the body (abs and back). This<br />

has the potential to translate into a tighter<br />

more defined mid-section. Featuring<br />

a fun fusion of Latin and International<br />

music – the course creates a dynamic,<br />

exciting, and effective fitness system! The<br />

routines feature aerobic/fitness interval<br />

training with a combination of fast and<br />

slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the<br />

body.<br />

is taught in a fun and energetic atmosphere, so be prepared to sweat! Get the whole body,<br />

mind, and soul experience. Wear loose clothing and athletic shoes. Before starting any fitness<br />
