For Module B, a valid American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BCLS card must be presented to the instructor on the first day of class. The primary focus of this course is to provide basic emergency medical care and transportation for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system. Upon the successful completion of Modules 10A and 10B, the student will be eligible to take the National Registry Emergency medical Technician (EMT) examination.
