Chapter members participated in a parade in Gaithersburg,<br />

MD. Several members also attended the Department of <strong>Veterans</strong><br />

Affairs 75th Anniversary ceremony on July 21, <strong>2005</strong> at DAR<br />

Constitution Hall in Washington D.C. The program included<br />

Adrian Cronauer of Good Morning Vietnam fame as the emcee.<br />

Secretary of <strong>Veterans</strong> Affairs R. James Nicholson and Vice<br />

President Richard B. Cheney were also in attendance.<br />

Finally, a group of members and spouses attended the <strong>Korean</strong><br />

<strong>War</strong> <strong>Veterans</strong> Memorial Armistice Day Commemoration<br />

142 group and “Minnie Bus,” their transportation to and from Washington<br />

D.C for the July 27th ceremony<br />

Ceremony in the Nation’s Capitol on July 27, <strong>2005</strong>. The ceremony<br />

commemorated the 55th anniversary of the signing of the<br />

armistice and the 10th anniversary of the dedication of the<br />

<strong>Korean</strong> <strong>War</strong> <strong>Veterans</strong> Memorial in Washington D.C.<br />
