Lake County Chapter #169 of Florida<br />

Photo of our new officers for the year 2001. We have many<br />

events we are working on and looking forward to in the coming<br />

year. <strong>The</strong> Officers are as follows from left to right:<br />

October 14, 2000 the Town of Lady Lake, Florida celebrated<br />

its’ 75th Anniversary. <strong>The</strong> Lake County Florida, <strong>Korean</strong> <strong>War</strong><br />

<strong>Veterans</strong> <strong>Association</strong>’s Chapter 169 Color Guard was selected to<br />

open the ceremonies with the presentation of the colors.<br />

A new chapter of <strong>KWVA</strong> was launched October 14 in<br />

Hampton, VA. <strong>The</strong> organizer of the chapter, Chapter 191, John L.<br />

Voss, (right in photo) shown with Robert L. Journell, President<br />

and Jim Jones, National Director, who handled the swearing in<br />

ceremonies.<br />

<strong>The</strong> chapter will serve the Peninsula area, which contains<br />

many military bases and has numerous military retirees.<br />
