BUDGETS:<br />
Study specific budgets are developed for individual industry-sponsored studies based on the information<br />
provided by the protocol <strong>and</strong> the study team. The above charges are for the st<strong>and</strong>ard procedures<br />
generally provided by the CTSU. Study specific procedures or special requests can be provided if<br />
possible <strong>and</strong> the cost will be negotiated per request.<br />
Budgets are prepared for the highest possible usage <strong>and</strong> cost of the CTSU. If there are multiple arms to<br />
a study, the most expensive arm will be calculated for all participants in case that should apply to all.<br />
The CTSU honors the original budget even if cost increases occur during the time of the study. However,<br />
new procedures or increased length of visits in amendments that were not part of the original budget<br />
may be added if they incur additional time or cost to the CTSU.<br />
