CECIL (B. DeMille) Beck had his "Greatest Show
On Earth" - the baseball portion of the 'mural
program - going full blast by the time warm
weather rolled around. Two leagues, Major and
Minor, fought tooth-and-nail right down to the
wire. Last year's winners were the Barons, captained
by Cletus Green, in the Minors, and J. C.
Roe's squad in the major circuit.
