CHAPTER FOUR RITES OF CONSECRATION<br />
After a few deep inhalations of the violet power, you will feel as if<br />
it is too much to contain. Pull it into yourself from above again, this<br />
time pushing the energy through your arm, into your hand, and allow<br />
it to spill into the water from your fingers. Open your eyes and look<br />
into the cup or bowl. Inhale, pulling more violet light into your body.<br />
Exhale, pushing it out into the water again. Look at the water and feel<br />
it on your fingers. Become aware of it spiritually, noting the psychic<br />
transmutation of its elements. Continue channeling the violet energy<br />
above you through your body, pouring it into the water until it feels as<br />
if the liquid is bubbling with power.<br />
Holding before you the consecrated water of banishing, dip as<br />
many fingers in the cup or bowl as you can, spooning the water into<br />
your fingers and bringing them out again to sprinkle the water on the<br />
ground. As the consecrated water falls to the ground, visualize the<br />
droplets turning to flame as they contact the filthy earth. Sense under<br />
your feet a portion of the polluted energy being driven away,<br />
evaporating into the air by the force of the fiery consecrated water.<br />
The Black Magician who has developed clairaudient faculties may even<br />
hear the energy being annihilated, the sound of inhuman shrieking<br />
piercing his ears as the ground is made clean.<br />
As the tainted energy in your Temple is being dispelled with the<br />
sprinkling of the consecrated water, you must verbalize your will for it<br />
to depart. The following Latin exorcism, revised for use in Black Magick,<br />
has been a dependable aide for the Sorcerer for quite some time.<br />
