DEMONIC SIGIL MAGICK<br />
Practitioners report seeing the lines and curves of the sigil disappearing<br />
from sight altogether only to reappear in a vibrant three-dimensional<br />
existence, each line vanishing and returning one at a time until the<br />
full sigH has undergone this process. In such a case, the sigH seems to<br />
flash with energy, and may even appear to no longer be sitting on the<br />
paper, but to have undergone a transfiguration and be existing<br />
independent of the paper and the ink. While other manifestations<br />
experienced by a smaller number of Practitioners may be less dramatic<br />
and phenomenal than the above, they will still undeniably mark the<br />
fact that the sigil has awakened.<br />
His sigil being thus awakened, opened as a gateway to his realm,<br />
Martal looks on and awaits the issuing of his task. Clearly state. "Martal.<br />
Grand Demon of the First Kingdom of Flames, I come seeking Initiation<br />
into the secrets of Black Magick and the Powers of Darkness. Surround<br />
me with the light of knowledge. so that the universe will deliver<br />
knowledge unto me. Surround me with familiars that will go before<br />
me. aligning all things for my Ascent. By the Power of Darkness, my<br />
will be done."<br />
Breathe out and feel the tightness that has gathered in your<br />
chest departing. Release the image held in your mind at the same<br />
time. Fold the paper sigH in half or turn it face down on the altar.<br />
Extinguish the candles. Put the sigil away where it will not be seen.<br />
even by your eyes. From its hidden location, it will remain as an open<br />
gateway. spilling the power and influence of Martal into this plane,<br />
affecting all things in your behalf.<br />
When a sigH is charged with a short-term task, such as gaining<br />
a certain amount of wealth, influencing a situation, or asserting the<br />
Black Magician's will, the sigil is to be destroyed as soon as the goal has<br />
come to pass. With a sigil and goal such as this one. however. the sigiJ<br />
may remain hidden and intact as long as its effect is still noticed. Once<br />
it is obvious that the influence of the sigil has run its course, it should be<br />
burned and the ashes should be scattered in the wind, buried, or dissolved<br />
in water.<br />
