The GTB/Velociti Brushless Systems from Novak are fast, powerful and designed to race.<br />
They include all of the extra performance-enhancing components required for world-class<br />
racing, making them ready-to-race straight out of the box with nothing extra to buy or<br />
install. Each system includes Novak’s premier GTB Programmable Racing Brushless/Brush<br />
Speed Control factory-wired to one of five Novak Velociti <strong>motors</strong>.<br />
GTB 4-cell/SS Pro Brushless Systems<br />
To meet the needs of the popular 4-cell <strong>brushless</strong> racing classes, Novak introduced the<br />
SS Pro Brushless Motor combined with a factory-wired GTB 4-Cell Programmable Racing<br />
Brushless/Brush ESC. The versatile 4-cell ESC can be used with either <strong>brushless</strong> or brushed<br />
<strong>motors</strong> and has no brushed motor limit. The GTB ESC is also fully programmable with a<br />
user-friendly interface. The SS Pro motor is equipped with outstanding features, including<br />
the ROAR-approved, Nickel-plated Sintered Neodymium rotor, ribbed end bells and thermal<br />
overload protection. The Novak GTB 4-Cell/SS Pro Brushless Systems include everything to<br />
be race-ready, so there is nothing extra to buy or install.<br />
GTB/ss pro Brushless Systems<br />
The SS Pro Brushless Motors are designed after Novak’s premier Velociti Series Racing <strong>brushless</strong><br />
<strong>motors</strong>. Three SS Pro Brushless Motor/GTB <strong>systems</strong> are available, including the SS13.5<br />
Pro Stock Brushless Motor, which is similar to a 27-turn racing stock brush motor. The SS Pro<br />
Brushless Motors are sensor based for excellent starting torque and low-speed driveability,<br />
and factory wired to the easily programmable GTB. The GTB ESCs have multiple adjustable<br />
parameters in the <strong>brushless</strong> and brushed mode. The SS Pro motor series is equipped with all<br />
of the great standard features found on all Novak <strong>brushless</strong> <strong>motors</strong>, including oversized front<br />
bearing, thermal overload protection and a convenient solder tab system.<br />

The Velociti Light Brushless Motor series offers a different<br />
feel to Velociti without sacrificing top speed.<br />
The Velociti Light sensor-based <strong>motors</strong> use a smaller gauge<br />
wire for the motor winds, providing slower acceleration<br />
and softer braking power — plus reduces its weight. These<br />
motor characteristics allow the Velociti Light <strong>motors</strong> to excel<br />
in slippery and tight track conditions, and are ideal for<br />
off-road and specific on-road applications. The Velociti Lights<br />

The SS Pro Brushless Motor Series is based on Novak’s<br />

and oversized front bearing. For spec class racing,<br />
the SS10.5 Pro has a blue timing ring, and the<br />

EX Sport Brushless Systems<br />
Novak’s EX Sport Brushless Systems have incredible power and starting torque, yet still<br />
boast longer run times. These <strong>systems</strong> are budget-friendly, allowing R/C enthusiasts the<br />
ability to upgrade to the pro performance of the SS-Series of <strong>motors</strong>. The XBR Sport<br />
Brushless ESC has four throttle profiles and is completely programmable. It is also the<br />
first Novak ESC to include Auto-Detect Brush Mode and Built-in Motor Rotation Selector.<br />
Each EX Sport Brushless System is available with Novak’s new XBR Sport Brushless ESC<br />

GOAT CRAWLER Brushless System<br />
Novak’s sensor-based Crawler Brushless System, which is affectionately named the Goat, is<br />
equipped with four driving profiles that enable crawlers to climb over, maneuver through and<br />
conquer the most challenging terrain. The Goat ESC has a Fully-Programmable Interface,<br />
using Novak’s easy One-Touch button and four LEDs. The Goat ESC has been outfitted with a<br />
rugged 6 volt / 5 amp BEC to provide powerful and precise steering. It also employs an<br />
exclusive active drag brake that uses battery power to slow the vehicle to a wheel-locking<br />
stop. The Crawler Brushless Motor is available individually or factory-wired to the Goat ESC.<br />

Novak’s HV Brushless Systems are geared for high-voltage applications such as the<br />

The XBR Sport is an affordable, full-featured<br />
speed control that is compatible with<br />
both <strong>brushless</strong> and brushed <strong>motors</strong>. The XBR<br />
offers the longer runtimes and the minimal maintenance<br />
of <strong>brushless</strong>, yet it also gives the ultimate<br />
performance on race day with a brushed motor.<br />
The small and lightweight XBR is equipped with<br />
many of the same features as Novak’s top-of-theline<br />
GTX Racing ESC. It is the first Novak ESC to<br />
include two great features new to Novak products:<br />
Auto-Detect Brush Mode and Built-in Motor<br />
Rotation Selector. It contains multiple throttle<br />
profiles with full programmability, all without<br />
the need for a computer laptop. Four status LEDs<br />
make programming very user-friendly. Other<br />

specifically designed for 4-cell racing. The 4-cell models have<br />

Take a peek at how your car<br />
is performing<br />
Novak has fashioned a way to take<br />
a sneak peek into how your car is<br />
performing. Simply plug it in, and<br />
the Novak Sentry Data Logger will<br />
measure and record information from<br />
several tiny sensors placed in your R/C<br />
car. The Sentry stores the collected<br />
data to be later reviewed on your<br />
personal computer. The Sentry’s small<br />
size and weight allow it to fit easily<br />
inside any R/C car, and operate on<br />
very low voltage.<br />
There are two versions of the Data<br />
Logger. The Sentry Data Logger<br />
(#2000) is ideal for all R/C cars, and<br />
includes six sensors that record the<br />
temperature in three places, throttle/<br />
steering, voltage and RPM. In addition<br />
to the detachable sensors, each<br />
Sentry is equipped with a built-in XY<br />
Accelerometer. The Sentry Data Logger<br />
– Pro (#2010) can also be used<br />
with all R/C cars and includes four<br />
extra Digital Sensors and Expander<br />
Board, and a Current Sensor.<br />
All of the information that the Data<br />
Recorder collects can be easily transferred<br />
to your PC via a USB connection.<br />
Once downloaded, the Sentry<br />
Data Logger can present all of the<br />
information in a graph or spreadsheet<br />
format, and can play back a<br />
stored run or view a run in Real Time.<br />
The saved logs can also be organized<br />
in a summary format, and drivers<br />
can also document their comments<br />
about each run and different car setups<br />
in the notes section of the Sentry<br />
