“Eyes of <strong>San</strong> <strong>Diego</strong>” Book Reflects the Joys of Pet Adoption<br />

Acclaimed <strong>San</strong> <strong>Diego</strong>-based animal photographer Beth Mallon<br />

has c<strong>ol</strong>laborated with the <strong>San</strong> <strong>Diego</strong> <strong>Humane</strong> <strong>Society</strong> <strong>and</strong><br />

<strong>SPCA</strong> to produce her third postcard book titled Eyes of <strong>San</strong><br />

<strong>Diego</strong>. The limited edition book features 30 mail-ready postcards with<br />

endearing portraits of local pets both adopted from <strong>and</strong> available for<br />

adoption at local area shelters. Mallon is donating 100 percent of<br />

proceeds from the sale of the book directly to the programs <strong>and</strong> services<br />

of the <strong>San</strong> <strong>Diego</strong> <strong>Humane</strong> <strong>Society</strong>.<br />

Eyes of <strong>San</strong> <strong>Diego</strong> reflects a goal shared by the <strong>San</strong> <strong>Diego</strong> <strong>Humane</strong><br />

<strong>Society</strong> <strong>and</strong> Beth Mallon: highlighting the joys of pet adoption <strong>and</strong><br />

ownership. “This is a testimony to the success of second chances,”<br />

writes Mallon in the book’s forward. “And in this celebration, it is<br />

our hope that you are also reminded of the thous<strong>and</strong>s of companion<br />

animals that are still waiting for homes each day <strong>and</strong> that rely on the<br />

generosity <strong>and</strong> support of the <strong>San</strong> <strong>Diego</strong> community.”<br />

Only 1,000 copies of this c<strong>ol</strong>lectible book have been<br />

printed. Eyes of <strong>San</strong> <strong>Diego</strong> can be purchased for $15<br />
