<strong>The</strong> <strong>Geomorphology</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Sediments</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Cockburn</strong> <strong>Sound</strong><br />
SUB-SURFACE SEDIMENTS<br />
Twelve vibracores ranging from 0.45 m to 6.10 m long were obtained from <strong>Cockburn</strong> <strong>Sound</strong>. Table<br />
6 summarises the results <strong>of</strong> the vibracoring survey <strong>and</strong> simplified logs <strong>of</strong> the cores are provided in<br />
Figure 16. Photographs for selected downcore sedimentary units are provided in Figure 17 <strong>and</strong><br />
detailed core logs <strong>and</strong> photographs are included in Appendix III. Appendix III also includes sample<br />
grain size data (sieve <strong>and</strong> laser measurements: Tables A3.1 <strong>and</strong> A3.2), CaCO 3 composition (Table<br />
A3.1) <strong>and</strong> XRF-ICPMS data (Table A3.3).<br />
