According to Article 3.2 of the<br />
ERP Fund Act, the ceiling of the<br />
OeNBÕs financing commitment corresponds<br />
to the sum by which the<br />
federaldebtwaswrittendowninitially<br />
(EUR 341.955 million) plus interest<br />
accrued (EUR 585.439 million<br />
on December 31, <strong>2004</strong>). The ERP<br />
loan portfolio managed by the OeNB<br />
thus totaled EUR 927.394 million on<br />
December 31, <strong>2004</strong>. The provisions<br />
governing the extension of loans<br />
from this portfolio are laid down in<br />
Article 83 of the Nationalbank Act.<br />
The residual terms of advances on<br />
salaries generally exceed one year. All<br />
advance payments are secured by life<br />
insurance plans.<br />
Other claims came to EUR 26.575<br />
million at December 31, <strong>2004</strong>, and<br />
mainly comprised advances, accounts<br />
receivable and claims arising from<br />
