1:00 PM MADEINAFRICA WORKSHOP PART III: THE DISTRIBUTION FUNDAMENTALS
(BY INVITATION ONLY) ACADEMY SUITE, HILTON
With 24,000 TV Stations available across the world, the number of potential television
content buyers has grown exponentially in the last 10 years, primarily because of the digital
revolution. Despite the negative impact of audiences fragmentation on licensing fees paid
by TV Stations, international television distribution revenues still represent the lion’s share
of all income generated by any sort of program. This workshop will underline the
importance of a well-planned and appropriate international strategy and examine the
distribution options available to African producers.
