The CFO Summit focused on the impact of the volatile<br />

and implications of forthcoming tax reforms on the role<br />

of the programme under the batch of Six Sigma Black<br />
Belt Certification Course (Level II) at Pune.<br />
Sustainability Assurance Practitioner Course<br />
15 – 19 November, Pune<br />
The course was delivered through a combination of<br />
seminar presentations, discussions and practical group<br />
exercises, drawing on best practice examples and the<br />
substantial experience of trainers. The participants<br />
were provided with IRCA Certified Training Modules<br />
comprising of case studies, sustainability reports and<br />
other relevant study material which would enhance<br />
their learning.<br />
Session on Polytechnic Upgradation<br />

The session emphasized on conducting series lectures<br />
by experts from industry, training the faculty for<br />
personality development, industrial visits for the<br />
trainees, faculty training for three months in industry,<br />
expert lectures from industry to teach specific subjects<br />
for the final year students, and curriculum development<br />
for emerging subjects.<br />
The session discussed the trade and investment<br />
opportunities as well as competitive challenges stemming<br />
from rising economic relations between India and Latin<br />
America and the Caribbean.<br />
Training Programme on Energy Management<br />

This training programme develop knowledge on<br />
techniques for effective energy management to reduce<br />
both thermal and electrical energy consumption, provide<br />
information on latest energy saving ideas on various<br />
energy intensive equipment, and to develop participants<br />
on self-energy auditing techniques through actual<br />
implemented case studies.<br />

The speakers shared their views on how a CFO can<br />
contribute beyond the dotted line. As the session<br />
topic suggested, this discussion was all about meeting<br />
