and not slow down the traffic at all. Don’t
they know a Willys coupe when they see
one?…Southern suburb drivers with no
taste…

times for the run to pass each on ramp.
Considering that the run passed through
Perth, it was very accurate and passed us at
about 6:34pm with Big Al giving a blast
from the A model’s Klaxon as he shot by.
From there on, the cruise ran very
smoothly with hundreds of rods, classics and
muscle cars mingling amongst the long string
of after work, going home traffic. It was an
eyeball smorgasbord for those that like our
choice of transportation.
This year traffic police manned the
Kwinana Beach turn off intersection and gave
the participating string of cars an almost
unbroken run through the traffic lights. We
stopped near Kwinana Beach to allow the
entourage to bunch up and then we had a
police escort into Rockingham. It worked
very well.
In Rockingham we were led to
the hotel’s rear car park, which
filled quickly with about 160 -200
