Busy Bee.<br />
I love busy bees. These days, they are pretty<br />
simple events. No more steel structures to cut,<br />
weld, transport and erect, no more digging or<br />
pouring footings before going to work on a<br />
weekday , no more roofing or laying thousands of bricks. no more<br />
sewers pipes to lay and connect. It is all pretty easy. Even back then,<br />
the work was harder and at times more dangerous, but the<br />
camaraderie of the members working together made it great fun and<br />
a good day out.<br />
My girls still have<br />
nightmares of the old drop<br />
hole dunny! In fact, Besides<br />
MS losing a thong in a<br />
puddle of tar, it’s all they<br />
remember about the<br />
clubrooms being built. It is<br />
probably the same for Rob<br />
Soia’s and the Curnows’<br />
children too.<br />
Now that the clubrooms<br />
have been completed for a<br />
while, it is now time to start<br />

in front of the workshop and everyone<br />
one else either swept up sand or<br />
