The main features of the DDJ-S1

Uses the layout of Pioneer’s professional DJ equipment to
ensure a high level of operability
The controller has excellent operability thanks to its layout similar to that of
Pioneer’s professional DJ equipment and to its jog dial with a diameter of 115
mm. Furthermore, since the master and channel level meters are arranged close
together, you can monitor the level of the master and each channel while
adjusting the volume. The controller also has an effect control area so you can
arrange tracks using the effects of the ITCH DJ software.

Includes a dock to connect with your laptop
The laptop dock allows you to store the keyboard of the laptop under the DDJ-S1.
Since the laptop screen is nearby, you can easily monitor the DJ software or
track information while DJing.

Includes a playing address system that allows you to
visually confirm the track progression status
The controller includes a playing address that shows track status on a LED
display so you know exactly where you are in the track while you're DJing. The
controller also includes the needle search function to quickly find a playback
point, so you can use the ITCH DJ software to intuitively mix two channels.

Connecting the controller only requires a USB cable,
so you can start DJing by simply plugging in
You can connect the controller to a computer with just a USB cable, so you can
truly "plug and play". Since all of the buttons and knobs have already been
assigned DJ software functions, you can easily start DJing without making any
complicated settings. Furthermore, the controller can be powered by the USB
port of a computer. *1

The controller includes software with various modes and functions, such as an
Alphabetic Search function for quick track selection from large music collections,
the Hot Cue Fader Start function to use hot cues with fader operations, and a Slip
mode for looping, reversing, and scratching without changing track tempo.

The controller is equipped with various terminals (3 input and 4 output), including
XLR input/output terminals (1 each) for connecting professional PA equipment,
so you can connect various devices.

A high quality design for a clear and powerful DJ sound
Pioneer has utilized technology developed from its professional DJ equipment,
including audio circuits from our DJ mixer in the master output terminal area, to
ensure high quality sound. In addition, audio characteristics optimal for the ITCH
DJ software have been included to realize a clear and powerful DJ sound.

● The cross fader and each channel fader employ a lock mechanism to prevent
the knobs from slipping
● Built-in sound cards
● The two microphone inputs are equipped with a Talk-over function to lower
the music volume when receiving voice input from the microphone.

controller may not operate on bus power. In this case, connect the included AC adapter.
