The <strong>Zurich</strong>-<strong>Basel</strong> <strong>Plant</strong> <strong>Science</strong> <strong>Center</strong> is a competence center which coordinates and<br />
promotes research and education in plant sciences at the ETH <strong>Zurich</strong>, the University of<br />
<strong>Zurich</strong> and the University of <strong>Basel</strong>. Since 1998 the interdisciplinary network has united<br />
researchers from many different fields of plant sciences. Presently, the <strong>Zurich</strong>-<strong>Basel</strong><br />
<strong>Plant</strong> <strong>Science</strong> <strong>Center</strong> represents 26 research groups from 8 institutes with a total of 700<br />
employees.<br />
