Why <strong>Kentucky</strong>?<br />

“Walking into Memorial Coliseum, it is acknowledged<br />

that the dedicated scholar athletes before me<br />

have poured their hearts into every aspect <strong>of</strong> intercollegiate<br />

competition. Blue pride is passed down as<br />

a tradition and a way <strong>of</strong> life because every Wildcat<br />

holds themselves accountable to expectations. I cannot<br />

see myself anywhere but <strong>Kentucky</strong> and am honored<br />

to be wearing blue today.”<br />

finishing 15th in the 4 x 400 relay at the state championships<br />
