me, because it gave me an opportunity to succeed in<br />
athletics and in academics. I am so happy with my<br />
decision, I love it here!”<br />

she can play the libero position with the best. She has led<br />
the conference in digs for most <strong>of</strong> her<br />
career and will be relied on heavily<br />

2004 – Played in all 30 matches as<br />
a sophomore, including a team-high<br />
111 games ... Totaled 478 digs on the<br />
season, which ranked second in the<br />
conference ... Her 4.39 dpg average in<br />
league play was best in the SEC ...<br />
Had double-figure digs in all but four<br />
matches ... Topped the 20-dig mark<br />
on 11 times on the season ... Also<br />
totaled 17 service aces on the year,<br />
including three at Arkansas ... Has<br />
totaled 951 career digs, which already<br />
ranks ninth in school history.<br />
2003 – Was named the first-ever<br />
SEC Defensive Player <strong>of</strong> the Year ...<br />
Also was named to the All-SEC First<br />
Team and the All-SEC Freshman<br />
Team ... Totaled 473 digs on the season,<br />
the third-highest single-season<br />
total in UK history ... Her single-season<br />
total was the most by a Wildcat<br />
since 1993 ... Had a season-best 33<br />
digs in UK’s win at Auburn ... Had<br />
double-figure digs in 25 <strong>of</strong> UK’s 32<br />
matches and topped the 20-dig mark<br />
