Cylindrical pellets of top quality
The M-USG underwater strand pelletizing systems have
been epitomizing top quality and system availability in the
raw material granulation sector for decades. The operator
can easily reach throughput rates of cylindrical pellets of
up to 20,000 kg/h due to the fully automatic process. The
automatic self-threading feature, also in the event of disrupted
strands, increases process stability. The optimally
adjusted intake mechanism with its cutting tools installed
inside the pelletizer is a pre-condition for the production
of excellent, dust-free pellets. A long lifetime of the intake
drums, cutting bars, and rotors due to the high quality of
the materials applied leads to reduced life-cycle costs.
Comfortable access to guiding systems and especially to
the die head and the cutting tools respectively guarantees
easy operation and cleaning.
The die head can be changed easily by hand and with a
lifting device within a few minutes. This quick-change feature
increases system availability, especially when the system
is operated continuously. Like in a clockwork, each
system component matters. Therefore, the importance of
the right strand pelletizing system and of the corresponding
efficient dryer cannot be rated high enough. The optimized
interaction of all M-USG strand pelletizing system
components leads to best pellet quality at high process
profitability.
