64 Chapter 4: Setting up the VCode VCode User Guide Sensor Pressure Label Taken Comments Displays the air pressure measured at the regulator. Displays the current label rest angle. The label rest angle is the angle at which the label is presented to the applicator head for removal from the media liner (label roll backing). The higher the number, the more vertical is the label when it is presented. If the sensor number is too low, the label will be presented at an angle that is too horizontal for the applicator head to remove. Related information For more information about... Chapter 4: Setting up the VCode VCode User Guide 65 Viewing printer settings About printer setup Your printer was set up at the factory and you should not need to make any changes. However, if a problem arises, you may be asked to change these settings by a Velocity11 ® service engineer. Viewing printer settings To view the current printer settings: 1. In VCode Diagnostics, click the Printer setup tab. 2. Click Load Printer Settings. The printer settings that were saved last will appear as numbers to the right of the horizontal scroll bars. Settings description !! IMPORTANT !! Only change these settings if you are under instruction from a Velocity11 service engineer. Changing these settings can cause problems that are time-consuming to correct. The following table explains the printer settings. Name Description Default Value Top of form Label Darkness Skip Distance Decreasing the value causes the position of the label fields to print higher on the label. Decreasing the value makes the printed label a lighter color. Decreasing the value decreases the presentation height, which is the position of the label when the label media stops moving after printing. 0 0 102
