Unpacking and inspecting the VCode

Inspection
While unpacking your VCode inspect all items to make sure that you
have everything you need and that there is no obvious shipping damage.
If you encounter a problem, contact the Velocity11 Service Center as
soon as possible.
VCode box !! DAMAGE HAZARD !! Save the packaging materials in case you
ever need to move or ship the VCode.
The main VCode box includes:
❑ A VCode and printer, assembled on a base plate
❑ A roll of 5,000 labels (minus labels used in the final factory test),
installed inside the VCode
❑ A thermal transfer ribbon (installed and used for the final factory
test)
❑ One of the following utility kits:
VCode Utility Kit, North America
VCode Utility Kit, UK
VCode Utility Kit, Switzerland
VCode Utility Kit, Continental EU
North American
Utility Kit
The VCode Utility Kit, North America contains:
❑ A power cable
❑ A serial communications cable
❑ Air tubing, 15 feet by 1/4 inches
❑ A fittings kit containing:
Fitting , 1/4-inch NPT to 1/4-inch quick-release
Fitting, 1/8-inch NPT to 1/4-inch quick-release
T-fitting, 1/4-inch quick-release
❑ A VCode software and documentation CD-ROM
❑ A printed VCode User Guide
European Utility Kits
The utility kits for Europe contain:
❑ A power cable (either continental EU, Swiss, or UK version)
❑ A serial communications cable
❑ A Metric Fittings Kit, containing:
Air tubing, 5 m by 6 mm
A quick-release adapter to join 1/4 inch and 6 mm hoses
