Setting the label format
Introduction
This topic describes how to set the label format that will be used to print
the label. You do this when creating a schema.
Label format
property
Before you can complete a schema, you must define the “Label format”
property. You do this by setting the Constants value for the property.
Note: Any data type can be used for the label format, but it is easiest to
use a constant. However, if you are using a data source for any of the
fields, you must include the label format setting in the data source.
To set the label format:
1. Create a constant for the format.
For the Constant value, use the number that is the same as the
number of the label format (stored in the printer) that you want to
use.
This is illustrated by the following screenshot.
2. Select the constant for the Label format field:
a. In the Label format field select a data type of Constants.
b. Select the Variable name that you chose when creating the
constant.
