Deleting a schema
You can delete schemas that you no longer want to use.
To delete a schema:
1. In PlateTag, click the Schemas tab at the bottom of the page.
2. Click Delete schema.

Configuring a schema
Introduction
This topic describes how to configure a schema, which you must do
before using it in a print job. When you configure a schema, you define
each field that will be printed on a label, along with the label format and
the vertical position of the plate stage.
About defining fields
Only define the fields that you want to print on your bar code label. If
you do not want to define a field, leave the default data source in the
Type column.
Before you start
Before configuring a schema, you must have done all of the following:
❑ Planned where the label data will come from.
❑ Set up either:
A data source.
One or more counters, constants or clones.
❑ Established which fields are used in the label format that you intend
to use in the schema.
!! IMPORTANT !! The information that is printed on a label
depends on the fields that you configure in the schema as well
as the fields used in the bar code label format. If a field is not
used in the label format, it will not be printed even if you
configure it in the schema.
