Chapter 1: Introduction VCode User Guide 5 Finding your software versions Introduction This topic shows you how find out your versions of PlateTag and VCode Diagnostics. From the CD-ROM The easiest way to find out your software versions is to look on the software CD-ROM label. From the files If you cannot find the software CD-ROM you can look at the version information in the executable files. To find the PlateTag or diagnostics version number: 1. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Velocity11\VCode. 2. Right-click PlateTag.exe or VCode3.ocx (diagnostics) and select Properties. 3. Click the Version tab. From the software If the software is open, you can also find the version of PlateTag or VCode Diagnostics following the procedures below. To find the PlateTag version number: 1. Start PlateTag. 2. Navigate to Help > About PlateTag. To find the diagnostics version number: 1. Start PlateTag. 2. Start VCode Diagnostics. 3. Read the version number on the title bar.
