After 10 years in the industry our strategy is still unchanged:
‘manufacturing high quality industrial couplings for the European market’.
We develop, design, manufacture, test and provide our couplings as an all-inclusive
coupling solution to our customers. Thanks to our close line with our production
plants in Belgium and Asia the whole process is monitored closely from design to
final production. Therefore a cross horizontal company structure is installed.
At LMC-Couplings, all departments work in close relationship with each other.
Like a winning football team, each player has a specific role. To play perfect,
cooperation is necessary. To score we need your involvement.

HISTORY
1996
Due to the growing demand on the European market for
high-quality industrial couplings, two companies, one
Belgian and one Taiwanese decided to combine their
strengths: market and application knowledge together with
material and production know-how.
LMC-Couplings was born!
The objective of LMC-Couplings was clear: to become an
important player and trusted partner on the European
market of industrial couplings.
LMC-Couplings starts to produce and offer cam & groove,
TW and Guillemin couplings in stainless steel.
1997
New product lines are introduced: DIN 2817, RK safety clamps
and 8” aluminium C&G couplings with 4 handles.
1998
Publication of the first product catalogue in English.
1999
Our product range is expanded to include DIN 3489
European air couplings and monobloc swivel flange inserts in
steel and stainless steel.
Our online service at www.lmc-couplings.com is launched for
customers worldwide.
2000
The successful cam & groove couplings range is expanded
with 4” polypropylene cam & groove couplings with three
handles and specially-designed spool adaptors.
The complete product range is expanded with the introduction
of brass Express couplings complying with NF E 29.573 and
‘GK’ couplings.
2001
A patented 1” safety handle is introduced to support the
cam & groove range.
A new range of PE couplings is marketed.
2002
Our consistent focus on product, processing and service
quality is rewarded with ISO 9001:2000 certification by
Lloyd’s Register.
2003
New products are added to our range of brass TW couplings.
Launch of LMC’s own DIN 11851-compliant food couplings.

HISTORY
2004
LMC-Couplings moves to a new building.
The warehouse space increased to 6400 m 2 .
A new important production line, aluminium Guillemin couplings
is launched.
The increase in demand for tailor-made products and for
engineered parts forces us to expand our production facilities
to 2300 m 2 . For this special market, LMC has invested in
new hi-tech CNC lathes.
2005
Lloyd’s Register EN ISO 9001:2000 certification is renewed
for a further three years.
New European standards are incorporated into the LMC-
Couplings product range.
Launch of HRRK swage ferrules in stainless steel and steel.
2006
LMC-Couplings invests in a fully-automated robot welding
machine. This robot improves the welding quality, ensures a
perfect food-welding quality and reduces lead times.
LMC-Couplings also invests in 3D measurement technology.
A coordinate measuring machine allows us to improve our
quality in control and engineering.
2007
LMC-Couplings completes its range of TW brass couplings
with the introduction of the ND 100.
Also new important product lines are introduced:
*DSP fire fighting couplings in aluminium
*FLEXOLINE® safety clamps for thin wall hoses
LMC-Couplings launches new online services:
*Real time access to product availability data

LMC-Couplings publishes a new technical product catalogue

QUALITY
The coupling and hose industry is becoming more and more
demanding all the time.
Just–in-time delivery, added-value,
environmental responsibility and product reliability are often
demanded as standard, which is why LMC-Couplings is committed
to the best possible quality standards.
At the end of 2005, LMC-Couplings’ EN ISO 9001:2000 certification
was renewed by Lloyd's Register.
The coupling manufacturing
process requires strict control to guarantee our customers the
highest product and service quality.
LMC-Couplings develops,
designs and manufactures couplings in accordance with its own
stringent engineering quality program.
Each coupling may be
different, but each and every item deserves the same high quality
of engineering supervision, because quality must be monitored at
every stage and at all times.

QUALITY
Before new couplings are launched, we conduct extensive market
research to evaluate the lifespan of every new coupling.
Product
manufacturing processes are tested and optimised on a small
scale before couplings are transferred to our production plants.
The experience we gain from pilot and full-scale production testing
makes a valuable contribution to our ongoing Research and
Development program.
Our engineering team uses the latest standards and leading-edge
3D measurement technology to develop, design and manufacture
perfect couplings.

WAREHOUSE
Our product range of industrial couplings covers more than 3000
references.
Quick couplings, threaded couplings, flange couplings
and assembly clamps are stored in our 6400 m 2 warehouse. To guarantee
our customers the highest product quality and fastest delivery time a
number of quality checkpoints are designed to manage product flow
in our warehouse.
Order picking times and picking routes are
constantly reappraised to identify potential improvements, because
managing 6400 m 2 of stock takes real expertise.

COMPANY
PRODUCTION
Our engineering team uses leading-edge 3D design technology to
develop, design and manufacture our tailor-made couplings using
advanced CNC lathes. Fully-automatic and semi-automatic welding
machines guarantee high-quality welded coupling solutions.
Our 2300 m 2 of production capacity also features the very latest
testing facilities, including a spectrometer, durometer, Ra value
meter, hi-tech measuring equipment, standard gauges, thread
gauges, etc.
OFFICES
Our offices at Mollem-Asse (10 minutes from Brussels) are strategically
located to maximise access to our customers in more than
27 European countries. From this location, we can guarantee all
our European customers delivery within 24 hours if necessary.
Our technical sales department is to your disposal in English,
Dutch, French or German.

R&D
WELDING SOLUTIONS
Our production department uses the latest welding technologies
to offer our customers consistently high-quality couplings.
The key to our successful welding operation is our highly–trained
personnel, who keep up to date with all the latest in welding technology
through a program of continuous training.
As part of our constant
process and product quality, LMC-Couplings has invested in a
fully-automatic TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding machine.
This welding process is used wherever welding of the highest quality
and precision is required.
MIG welding machines are used for all special applications.
Driven by user-friendly, high-performance power sources,
LMC-
Couplings’ dynamic welding solutions are flexible, fully-integrated
and suitable for a large range of welding applications. This result in
high operation efficiency and consistent product quality.

R&D
CNC SOLUTIONS
Tailor-made couplings often involve the use of LMC-Couplings’
advanced CNC lathes.
Our engineering team uses leading-edge
3D design software to develop, design and manufacture our tailor-made
couplings. Continual communication between design and production
is required throughout the production process.
Our production facilities maintain an extensive stock of raw materials
specifically for our tailor-made products:
