7.3 Registration and cancellation via the biller’s platform
Both the registration forms and the cancellation forms must be available on
the biller’s platform in four languages (German, French, Italian and English).
The language selection is made using the language code which is supplied
automatically by the yellowbill system when calling up the registration form
or cancellation form.
If the bill recipient clicks on the “Register” or “Cancel” button in the list
of billers he is redirected to a secure link (https connection) on the biller’s
website. The registration or cancellation form is prepared by the biller’s
server and the customer’s data are received and processed directly by this
server.
The biller can design the registration form as he wishes. If necessary, the
biller can request additional details from the bill recipient. The form should
contain at least a telephone number or e-mail address of the biller in case
the customer has any questions. Furthermore, PostFinance recommends
sending confirmation to the bill recipient stating whether the registration
was successful or not.
Hyperlinks may only lead to the biller’s page and the registration form
may not contain any active elements, e. g. Java Script, ActiveX, etc. (see section
11.3). The biller is also obliged to have adequate security measures
against unauthorized attacks from the Internet in place for its own services
(authentication).
When the hyperlink is called up, PostFinance automatically transmits
the following bill recipient details together with the URL:
Private Customer
EBillAccountID, last name, first name and language code of the bill recipient.
Business Customer
EBillAccountID, company name and language code of the bill recipient.
