TOTALING A CHARGE SALE
Use the charge keys to track charge or credit card sales. See "Function Key Programming" to
change the descriptors for the charge tender functions. For example, you can use CHARGE 1 to
track Visa card sales. The descriptor "VISA" will display on the function look up menu and print on
the printer. You can also set tendering options for the charge keys, i.e. whether to allow over
tendering or to enforce tendering.
Note: When a function is located on a function look up menu key, you access the function by
pressing the appropriate function look up key, then pressing the numeric digit corresponding to the
function you wish to select. On the default keyboard, the CHARGE 1 function is function #1 on the
function look up 2 menu, so to use the CHARGE 1 function, you would first press FUNCTION
LOOK#2, then press the numeric 1 key.
Register the items you wish to
sell.
Press one of the charge key if
it is located on the keyboard:
