THE BUILDING FROM THE FUTURE
Și infrastructura zonei a avut de câștigat în urma proiectului. E
vorba de 1,7 km de străzi noi, precum și piste pentru biciclete și
o reţea de cabluri electrice subterane, respectând sofisticatul
sistem de infrastructură urbană „Net City”.
ÎN INTERIORUL ORAȘULUI VENIT DIN VIITOR
Odată ce ai pătruns în Petrom City, trebuie să-ţi iei un moment
de răgaz ca să admiri armonia construcţiei.
Petrom City este asemeni unui campus universitar, așa cum
ne-a explicat și Ioana:
„Petrom City este format din cinci clădiri, două administrative
ovale, o construcţie cu formă clasică, un centru de date şi o
centrală care va asigura autonomie energetică, toate în același
complex. În plus, există un restaurant propriu, un centru medical
pentru angajaţii companiei, și o cafenea în care oamenii să se
relaxeze în momentele de pauză. Asocierea cu un campus vine
în mod special de la ideea că într-un campus oamenii evoluează
împreună atât la nivel individual cât și în echipă”.
Totuși, cu siguranţă, cea mai impresionantă clădire din Petrom
City este uriașa Infinity building, formată din două clădiri ovale
unite care recompun simbolul infinitului. În centrul întregului
concept au stat: calitatea vieţii oamenilor, valorile companieiparteneriat,
pionierat și profesionalism, precum și transpunerea
lor în tot ce înseamnă design interior și elemente de mobilier în
cadrul unei viziuni folosite pentru prima dată în ţară, „working

INSIDE THE CITY FROM THE FUTURE
Once you set foot inside Petrom City, you need to take your
time and admire the harmony of construction. Petrom City is
alike a university’s campus, like Ioana explained to us:
“Petrom City is made of five buildings, two oval administrative
buildings, a classic shaped building, a data center and a
power plant that will assure energy autonomy, all of them in
the same complex. In addition to that, there is a restaurant, a
medical center for company employees and a café, where
people can relax when taking a break. The association with a
campus comes especially from the idea that in a campus
people evolve together both individually and in a team.”
However, the most impressive construction of Petrom City
is the huge Infinity building, made of two oval parts united
into the symbol of infinity. At the heart of the entire concept
lie people’s life quality, the company’s values – partnership,
pioneering and professionalism – and their translation into
interior design and furniture elements, within a vision used
for the first time in the country – “working environmental
branding”.
