Cu harta în mână, trebuie neapărat să iei funicularul şi să urci pe
Fourviere, să vizitezi basilica Notre Dame şi să admiri panorama
oraşului. În spatele bazilicii, se află un amfiteatru roman unde se
desfăşoară spectacole de operă, dans, muzică şi teatru.
Presqu’ile este zona în care se găsește cea mai mare concentraţie
de magazine, restaurante şi baruri. Pe strada Emil Zola, vei găsi
magazine de textile, artă şi bijuterii. La Part-Dieu este un centru
comercial pe patru nivele în care poţi să îţi dai frâu liber la
cumpărături de tot felul. Viaţa de noapte este interesantă la Lyon,
barurile şi cluburile din strada St. Jean se întrec în a acoperi toate
stilurile de distracţie. Oprește-te la Chantecler unde se serveşte
bere făcută în casă!
Nu sunt uitaţi nici amatorii de istorie, cultură şi civilizaţie, pentru
care oraşul are foarte multe de oferit. Nenumăratele sale muzee,
de la cel de Artă Contemporană, la cel al Aerului, La Maison des
Canuts, Muzeul de Artă Decorativă şi ţesături, cu ţinute semnate
Christian Lacroix, de Miniaturi şi Décor de Cinema, Muzeul
Civilizaţiei Galo-Romane până la bazilici, parcuri sau galerii. Un
exemplu de bijuterie arhitectonică este Opera Nouvel, clădire
construită între anii 1985-1993 după planurile lui Jean Nouvel.
Nu rataţi Gara Lyon-Saint-Exupéry TGV, opera celebrului
arhitect spaniol Santiago Calatrava.
Map in hand, you must by all means take the cable railway and
go to the top of Fourviere, to visit the Basilica of Notre-Dame
and admire the city view. Behind the basilica there is a Roman
amphitheater, which hosts opera, dance, music and theater
shows.
Presqu’ile is where you find the highest density of stores,
restaurants and bars. On Emile Zola Street, you will find textile,
art and jewelry shops. Part-Dieu hosts a four-level commercial
center where you can indulge in a real shopping spree. Night
life is very interesting in Lyon, as the bars and clubs in St. Jean
Street compete in covering all styles of entertainment. Make a
stop at Chantecler, where they serve homemade beer!
Those interested in history, culture and civilization also have a
vast offer at their disposal. The city has countless museums,
from the Museum of Contemporary Art to the Air Museum, La
Maison des Canuts, the Museum of Decorative Arts and
Textiles, with outfits signed by Christian Lacroix, the Museum
of Miniatures and Décor de Cinema, the Gallo-Roman
Civilization Museum, but also basilicas, parks and galleries. An
example of architectonic jewelry is the Opera Nouvel, built in
1985-1993, after Jean Nouvel’s designs. Don’t miss the Lyon-
Saint-Exupéry TGV train station, the work of famous Spanish
