COLLEGE SPORT<br />
Rhonda Williams) and Linley Somerville,<br />
Lauren Parnaby and Dani Levido were named in<br />
the NSW All Schools team to play in the National All<br />
Schools championships in Week 2 Term 2.<br />
Boys Volleyball team defeated Ryde Secondary<br />
College 3 - 0. They will now go ahead and play<br />
Pennant Hills High at a date TBA.<br />

NETBALL<br />
The College Netball team will be playing their<br />
second and third rounds of the knockout<br />
competition on the 22nd March as well as trialling<br />
for a place in the Met North Netball team.<br />
RUGBY<br />
Rugby trials have been held this week and will be<br />
held again next week.<br />
Under 15 trials at Freshwater senior<br />
campus on Tuesday and Opens on the Thursday.<br />
Both are at 4.00pm - 5.00pm.<br />
SOCCER<br />
Peninsula Cup Soccer Trials begin in Week 9.<br />
Opens: Monday 22nd March<br />
Under 13s: Tuesday 23rd March<br />
Under 15s: Wednesday 24th March<br />
All trials will be held at the Freshwater Senior<br />
<strong>Campus</strong> from 4-5pm.<br />
BASKETBALL<br />
The Brad Dalton basketball clinics will be held again<br />
on Wednesday's for all students keen to learn the<br />
finer points of basketball by a two times Olympian<br />
and National player for 10 years. It is a gold coin<br />
fee. For those basketball enthusiasts this is a<br />
chance of a life time.<br />

RESULTS<br />
The teams played on Tuesday 16/3 at the All<br />
Schools carnival at the Olympic Centre<br />
at Blacktown and the Firsts won (coached by<br />
Uniform Shop<br />
Pre-loved uniforms are available from the<br />
School Uniform Shop which operates on<br />
the first Monday of each month. Any<br />
donations of uniforms in good condition<br />
are always welcome.<br />
Please note: because of the April holidays<br />
the shop will not re-open until Monday 3 rd<br />
May (from 8:30 to 9:00am)<br />
Trivia Night – May 22 nd 2010<br />
The Garmans have<br />
been persuaded to<br />
organise a trivia<br />
night in their final<br />
year as MSC<br />
parents! It will be<br />
an evening not to<br />
miss. So start cramming on your trivia knowledge,<br />
get a group together and write the date in your<br />
diary!<br />
Tickets are $20 per head with funds raised being<br />
split between the P&C and the Band funds. You<br />
can either book a table for 8-10 people or just buy<br />
your tickets and we’ll put you with your Year<br />
Group. It’s a great way to meet other parents.<br />
Meanwhile, we also need some help for prizes for<br />
the raffle etc ….so if you can donate a prize, please<br />
email Jill Deere at jdeere@bigpond.net.au.<br />
To reserve a table please also email Jill but there<br />
will be a flyer in next week’s newsletter with<br />
further details for booking.<br />
