RELATIVE VALUE GUIDE FEE SCHEDULE<br />

The Relative Value Guide (RVG) lists fees <strong>for</strong> In Hospital anaesthetic services.<br />

The RVG basic unit cost has been reviewed to $32.05.<br />

In addition all medical practitioners will be paid RVG fees where they have qualifications<br />

updated with Medicare Australia.<br />

For items not listed in the RVG <strong>Fee</strong> Schedule please refer to the appropriate schedule in<br />

this booklet.<br />

• For medical attendances and consultations provided by general practitioners<br />

participating in DVA’s Local <strong>Medical</strong> Officer Scheme, please use the Local <strong>Medical</strong><br />

Officer <strong>Fee</strong> Schedule <strong>for</strong> the relevant fees.<br />

• For derived fees <strong>for</strong> Local <strong>Medical</strong> Officers, please use the Derived <strong>Fee</strong>s <strong>for</strong> Local<br />

<strong>Medical</strong> Officers <strong>Fee</strong> Schedule.<br />

• For all specialist attendances and consultations, investigative and general medical<br />

procedures claim from the Repatriation <strong>Medical</strong> <strong>Fee</strong> Schedule.<br />

• For diagnostic imaging services claim from the Diagnostic Imaging <strong>Fee</strong> Schedule.<br />

• For pathology services claim from the Pathology <strong>Fee</strong> Schedule.<br />
