NOTE 10<br />

INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL REPORTING STANDARDS<br />

On 14 th September 2007 the Financial <strong>Report</strong>ing Standards Board decided that mandatory adoption of New Zealand<br />

Equivalents to International Financial <strong>Report</strong>ing Standards (NZ IFRS) should be delayed for certain small companies<br />

and entities that are not subject to the Financial <strong>Report</strong>ing Act 1993. <strong>Howick</strong> <strong>Pakuranga</strong> <strong>Cricket</strong> <strong>Club</strong> Inc. meets the<br />

criteria and as such is not required to adopt NZ IFRS.<br />

NOTE 11<br />

SUBSEQUENT EVENTS<br />

The Executive Committee are not aware of any other matters or circumstances since the end of the reporting period,<br />

not otherwise dealt with in these financial statements, that have significantly affected or may significantly affect the<br />

operations of the <strong>Club</strong>.<br />

BANK OVERDRAFT / SECURITY<br />

The ASB bank overdraft facility is secured against the buildings.<br />

GOING CONCERN<br />

These financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis.<br />
