Springboard 2011<br />

Student work from the subject areas of Technology Studies,<br />

Technology & Manufacturing Studies, Design Technology,<br />

Manufacturing, Graphics, Visual Art, Creative Art, Hospitality,<br />

Home Economics, Food & Textile Technology, Information and<br />

Technology & Information Technology Systems were once again<br />

on display as part of our Springboard student exhibition. The<br />

official opening took place on Wednesday 19 September in<br />

the Multi-Purpose Centre Auditorium and remained open for<br />

<strong>Redeemer</strong> Fair.<br />

We congratulate all staff and students from our Art Technology<br />

subjects on an outstanding exhibition of work!<br />

Talk to a Champ<br />

A group of <strong>Redeemer</strong> students from Years 8-12 went to an<br />

Australian Olympic Committee Education Event called ‘Talk to a<br />

Champ’ on 11 August. Talk to a champ is a live studio audience<br />

discussion, featuring two outstanding Australian Olympic Gold<br />

Medalists, Susie O’Neil and Nikki Hudson talking about the highs<br />

and lows of their sporting careers while stressing the positive<br />

impact sport has had on their lives. The discussion centres on the<br />

a.s.p.i.r.e values and included a question and answer time.
