Garden awards 2011
Tenants deserve praise indeed for
all the hard work they have put
into their gardens again this year!
We had an outstanding number
of entrants for the awards and this
years 1st and 2nd place winners
were presented with their prizes
at our three Housing Consultation
Roadshows in Monifieth,
Kirriemuir and Montrose.
The standard of all the gardens
in the awards this year
was excellent and it was
difficult for Council staff to
choose the best gardens.
We would like to praise all
the other gardeners who
have played a part in adding
to the attractiveness of our
towns and villages across
Angus and their efforts to
create colourful displays and
well-kept gardens.
The photo gallery is evidence
of the colourful display
from all the gardens entered
in the Awards this year and
we are looking forward to a
high number of entries again
in 2012! •
