Group Exercise Participant Pass:<br />
Participants can purchase a Group<br />
Exercise Participant Pass, which is a<br />
punch card for 8 separate visits to<br />
specified water and land group exercise<br />
classes. For land group exercise, pass<br />
can be used for all regularly scheduled<br />
aerobics classes. (Pass is not valid for<br />
Yoga, Pilates and Group Cycling.) For<br />
water group exercise, pass can be<br />
used for all regularly scheduled Water<br />
Exercise classes and Arthritis classes. (Pass<br />
is not valid for Prenatal classes.) The<br />
Group Exercise Participant Pass can be<br />
purchased at the Member Services Desk.<br />
Teen/Adult $50 for 8-class punch card;<br />
Senior $45 for 8-class punch card.<br />
Aquatics Family Night: Bring the family<br />
and join us for fun water activities every<br />
Friday night. A great way to spend an<br />
hour in the pool! Activity’s will include<br />
basketball, noodle races, water exercise<br />
and lots of other fun games! Unwind and<br />
let the kids burn off some of that energy!<br />

Y AQUATICS<br />
Lifeguard Class: This course certifies<br />
candidates in <strong>YMCA</strong> Lifeguarding<br />
Training. It includes equipmentbased<br />
lifesaving skills, personal safety,<br />
aquatic first aid, public relations, pool<br />
maintenance and guarding techniques.<br />
Participants must be 16 years of age<br />
prior to the first day of class and<br />
have strong swimming abilities. To<br />
receive certification, candidates must<br />
pass written and practical exams and<br />
demonstrate professional lifeguard<br />
characteristics. Healthcare Provider CPR<br />
and First Aid are prerequisites of the<br />
class and are not included in the cost of<br />
the guard class. Attendance is required<br />

MultiFit Triathlon and Endurance Training<br />
Group: Are you thinking of doing a<br />
triathlon this summer? If you think<br />
that you might need a bit of guidance,<br />
structure or company, the Jordan <strong>YMCA</strong><br />
has the program for you. MultiFit, an<br />
endurance training group that focuses<br />
on the sport of triathlon, is currently<br />
getting ready to start their summer<br />
training block. Workouts are adapted<br />
to fit all fitness levels while maintaining<br />
a group dynamic. Membership includes<br />
written workouts and access to all of the<br />
<strong>YMCA</strong> Indy SwimFit practices.<br />
The five weekly day practices alternate<br />
between mornings before 7am and<br />
evenings, with a 6th practice on<br />
Saturday mornings. Specific practice<br />
times and locations change due to<br />
training focus and type of workout.<br />
