Clarian Health’s Committed to Kids<br />

Health at the Jordan <strong>YMCA</strong>: A sensible program<br />

that empowers families to implement<br />

healthy lifestyle changes through fun physical<br />

activities and nutrition education. The<br />

program teaches participants to avoid diets<br />

and intimidating physical activities focusing<br />

on realistic lifelong change that can be<br />

incorporated into already busy lives. This<br />

10-week program will focus both parents<br />

and children on learning how to maintain<br />

lifestyles that embrace healthy eating and<br />

age appropriate physical activity. For more<br />

Members only. A Wellness Coach will<br />

teach you how to use the equipment in<br />

the Wellness Center, including our “stateof-the-art”<br />

computerized FitLinxx® tool.<br />

You will get a computerized copy of your<br />

workout, including weights, repetitions,<br />

seat settings and more on the weight<br />

machines, as well as target heart rate<br />

and a plan for cardio workouts. You also<br />

will be able to record your workouts<br />

online, e-mail questions to your coach,<br />

read fitness articles, etc.<br />

Ultimate Weight Loss Program: (All ages)<br />

Do you want to get in shape and lose<br />

some weight? Then this program is for<br />

you. You will gain information from<br />

personal trainers and nutritionists to<br />

help you reach your goals. The first hour<br />

is information-based, and the second<br />

hour is a group workout! Weekly weighins<br />

are optional. Wed, 6-8 pm.<br />
