Session Dates and Rates<br />

Private/Semi-Private Lessons: (Ages 3+) 30<br />

minutes. Instructors modify the skills from<br />

the <strong>YMCA</strong> Swim Lessons program to the<br />

individual’s abilities and goals. To register<br />

for private swim lessons, please inquire at<br />

Member Services. Includes 7 lessons.<br />

Private: | FM $105 PM $210<br />

Semi-Private: | FM $79 PM $158<br />

Stroking Onward: For those who<br />

have “outgrown” swim lessons. A<br />

noncompetitive swim team atmosphere,<br />

participants will focus on stroke<br />

development and endurance.<br />

<strong>YMCA</strong> Swim lessons are progressive<br />

though the various levels. Register today<br />

Preschool Swim Lessons: (Ages 3-5) 30<br />

minutes. Child’s first pool experience<br />

without parents. Children are taught the<br />

building blocks of swimming and are<br />

divided into four skill levels to progress<br />

individually. Bubble belts are used as<br />

aids to help the children swim safely and<br />

independently while creating feelings of<br />

accomplishment.<br />

Y AQUATICS<br />

Youth Swim Lessons: (Ages 6-12) 40<br />

minutes. Improve stroke development<br />

endurance. Each skill level builds<br />

upon the preceding level. Five main<br />

components: personal growth, personal<br />

safety, stroke development, water sports<br />

and games, and rescue.<br />

Parent/Child Swim Lessons: (Ages 6mos-3yrs)<br />

30 minutes. Filled with songs and games;<br />

you and your child learn about personal<br />

safety and water adjustment.<br />

AQUA Tykes: (Ages 2½-5) Class is filled<br />

with structured aquatic activities and<br />

games. Your child will gain confidence and<br />

make new friends. Each week focuses on a<br />

different aquatic activity.<br />

Day Camp Swim Lessons: (Ages 3-12)<br />

Instruction is given by trained <strong>YMCA</strong><br />

Aquatics staff. Classes meet Monday-<br />

Thursday each week of day camp.<br />

11:30am-Noon for Preschool age campers<br />

and 4-4:40pm for school age campers.<br />
