As you’re aware, Miss Arkansas will be crowned July 20. Miss America crowning is Sept 15. If
you’re crowned Miss Arkansas you will have very little time to be ready so we will be asking you
to prepare as if you just won the Miss Arkansas crown and are going to Miss America.
Miss Arkansas Pageant is excited to provide you with improved Contestant Contracts,
Administration & Production Requirement, Informational and MAO Scholarship Forms. The 2013
forms are provided to you in PDF fillable and savable format. They are located April 1 at
www.missarkansas.org/forms. These forms are also formatted to allow easier completion.
Many forms are different than you have seen in the past. Read each form carefully. BEGIN
IMMEDIATELY! Work with your Executive Director to complete your forms. If you have

The Document is a clarification of the forms and what is required. This is NEW! It should
answer a lot of questions about a specific form.
The Form is what you complete and put in your Contestant Packet(s).
You are asked to complete two (2) packets. You will be told what forms go in each
packet.
1. Packet One (1): This packet will hold a copy of all forms and your Talent Music Track.
This packet will be used by the Miss Arkansas National Forms Project Chairman to
prepare the National Forms for Miss America.
2. Packet Two (2): This packet will hold items that are need by the various Miss
Arkansas Pageant departments for pageant Operations.
3. Read all documents first for direction
4. Talent requirement have been changed and clarified. It will take you time to get and
provide the releases.
5. Thoughts and Tips with Miss Arkansas Week will be provided under separate cover
so you can be prepared for your big week. We will keep you informed so regularly
check the website: www.missarkansas.org; Your Miss Arkansas Facebook Class
2013 closed group and the email address you have provided as your primary
address.
6. It is your responsibility to be aware and prepared. Lots of Volunteers are here to
help you but at the end it is up to you to "MONITOR AND ADJUST".
Again you are to complete and submit two packets. We have to be prepared to send Miss
America what information they need and also prepare what is needed for Miss Arkansas.
You will need to begin preparing your packet immediately.
