heute in der aktuellen Version oft das Rückgrat vieler Airlines bildet. Fans des 

Maßstabs 1:200 können sich auf den ersten Hubschrauber 

in dieser Baugröße freuen. Die Mil Mi-8 ist ein 

in der UDSSR entwickelter Mehrzwecktransporthubschrauber, 

der im Herpa-Programm jetzt als 

hochwertiges Metallmodell erscheint. Für die Fans 

russischer Flugzeuge gibt es ergänzend dazu jetzt 

auch die Ilyushin IL-76 als Kunststoffmodell im großen 

Maßstab 1:200.

Spring Collection including the new releases up to May / June 2012. 

Look forward to milestones in aviation technology in the 1/500 scale like the 

Tupolev TU-144 – the world’s first supersonic plane, even before the Concorde. 

The Boeing 737-100 is a Yesterday model with a special place in history: all 

of 45 years ago, the maiden flight of this type took place, 

which in its current version, constitutes the backbone of 

many an airline today. Friends of the 1/200 scale can 

look forward to the first Herpa helicopter of that size. The 

Mil Mi-8 is a multi-purpose helicopter developed in the 

USSR, and now enhances the Herpa program as a highquality 

metal model. Fans of Russian airplanes can now 

also get a hold of the Ilyushin IL-76 as a plastic model 

in the 1/200 scale.

Von 1958 bis 1961 in Produktion, war die G-Version die meist gebaute Variante der Stratofortress. Die letzten Exemplare wurden 1994 ausgemustert. Als „Operation 

Desert Storm“ organisierten die USA 1991 ihre größte Mobilmachung seit dem Zweiten Weltkrieg. Zu den Kampfflugzeugen, die über Irak zum Einsatz kamen,

Mi-8s. One of the many operators had been the Soviet Air Force which also
