46 Crocus SHDSL Repeater 2P Chapter 4 User manual Monitor interface BASERATE This command sets respectively the N-side and C-side to a fixed line rate. It sets the amount of available 64 kbps channels. Enter a value between 16 and 32 (i.e. a range from 1024 kbps up to 2048 kbps). In order to optimise the bandwidth of your connection, set the base rate to the highest possible value which gives a stable connection. • Syntax: BASERATE [N,N] • Example: BASERATE 20,20 ADAPTIVE This command sets respectively the N-side and C-side to adaptive line rate mode. In this case, the Crocus SHDSL Repeater 2P tries to achieve the highest possible line rate which gives a stable connection. • Syntax: ADAPTIVE [ON|OFF,ON|OFF] • Example: ADAPTIVE ON,ON ID This command sets the unique identification string which is displayed in the main menu. • Syntax: ID [TEXT] • Example: ID MyShdslRepeater
