3.4 Monitoring the <strong>Crocus</strong> <strong>SHDSL</strong> <strong>Repeater</strong> <strong>2P</strong> with TMA<br />
Using the monitor interface, you can configure the <strong>Crocus</strong> <strong>SHDSL</strong> <strong>Repeater</strong> <strong>2P</strong> and monitor the status<br />
and performance. Refer to 4 - Monitor interface on page 37 for more information. However, it is also possible<br />
to monitor the status and performance of the <strong>Crocus</strong> <strong>SHDSL</strong> <strong>Repeater</strong> <strong>2P</strong> and to activate loop-back<br />
tests on the <strong>Crocus</strong> <strong>SHDSL</strong> <strong>Repeater</strong> <strong>2P</strong> by using TMA. This is not possible by connecting TMA directly<br />
to the <strong>Crocus</strong> <strong>SHDSL</strong> <strong>Repeater</strong> <strong>2P</strong>, but by connecting to a Telindus <strong>SHDSL</strong> device and retrieving the<br />
information from the <strong>Crocus</strong> <strong>SHDSL</strong> <strong>Repeater</strong> <strong>2P</strong> over the EOC channel.<br />
