Use Case<br />
The <strong>WinMOD</strong> Configuration <strong>X520</strong> is used <strong>for</strong>:<br />

For the emulation of max. 112 <strong>INTERBUS</strong> slaves, thereof max. 64 <strong>PC</strong>P-participants. Up to 16<br />
bus comm<strong>and</strong> structure levels can be supported.<br />
For the realization <strong>and</strong> <strong>for</strong> the mixed service of partial virtual automation plants with integrated<br />
real-time process simulation.<br />
For software testing of the programmed AS software.<br />
For the realization of training simulators <strong>for</strong> automated machines <strong>and</strong> plants, <strong>for</strong> training<br />
purposes of service- <strong>and</strong> maintenance personnel.<br />
System Coupling<br />

<br />
<br />
<strong>WinMOD</strong> is connected via the Ethernet-TCP/IP-connection with the <strong>INTERBUS</strong> G4 emulator.<br />
This emulator replicates the behavior of the projected <strong>INTERBUS</strong> slaves versus the <strong>INTERBUS</strong><br />
master.<br />
<strong>INTERBUS</strong> transfer rates of 500 kBit/s, 2 MBit/s <strong>and</strong> 8 MBit/s are supported.<br />
In general there are no changes in the control program necessary.<br />
<strong>WinMOD</strong> Configuration Software <strong>X520</strong><br />
<br />
<br />
The bus configuration with the signal list of the AS is transferred directly via data import out of<br />
the programming (from <strong>PC</strong> <strong>WORX</strong> version 6 SP 3).<br />
Besides the cyclic data exchange also the read <strong>and</strong> write process of <strong>PC</strong>P objects is supported.<br />

As specific emulation hardware the <strong>INTERBUS</strong> G4 emulator unit <strong>WinMOD</strong> <strong>PC</strong> varioslave<br />
<strong>INTERBUS</strong> is used <strong>for</strong> the multislave-emulation.<br />
The <strong>PC</strong> has a free, functional Ethernet port <strong>for</strong> the coupling with the emulation hardware.<br />
