No dogs are allowed on the Match Grounds that are not enterable in this Match. Owners<br />

will be required to keep their dogs under control at all time. A catalog will be available, and<br />

a raffle will be held. A food concession will be available on Match Grounds from which<br />

you may purchase snacks and soft drinks.<br />

Neuter Class: Neutered Male <strong>Siberian</strong> Huskies with AKC (or equivalent) registration<br />

Spay Class: Spayed Female <strong>Siberian</strong> Huskies with AKC (or equivalent) registration<br />

JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP<br />

Novice: For boys & girls 8 to 18 years of age, who have never won first place in Novice<br />

Open: For boys & girls 8 to 18 years of age, who have won first place in Novice<br />

ADDITIONAL RULES: Winners of the puppy classes will not compete against winners of<br />

the adult classes for Best of Breed. Champions of Record and dogs with major points may<br />

compete only in Obedience and Veteran Classes, be handled in Junior Showmanship, be<br />

entered as part of a Brace or Team, or be entered in the Spay or Neuter class. Only AKC<br />

registered or equivalent <strong>Siberian</strong> Huskies are eligible for entry in any of the conformation<br />

classes, brace, team, spay, and neuter classes, or to be handled in Junior Showmanship.<br />

<strong>Siberian</strong> Huskies with ILP/PALS numbers are eligible for entry only in the Parade of<br />

Rescued <strong>Siberian</strong> Huskies. Licensed or professional handlers may show their own dogs or<br />

those owned by members of their immediate family, only.<br />

SPECIAL ATTRACTION: PARADE OF RESCUED SIBERIAN HUSKIES<br />

To applaud those who have given homes to homeless <strong>Siberian</strong> Huskies, the <strong>Northern</strong><br />

<strong>California</strong> <strong>Siberian</strong> <strong>Husky</strong> <strong>Club</strong>, welcomes you to our Parade of Rescued <strong>Siberian</strong> Huskies.<br />

To be eligible for entry, the dog must have been rescued. Each entrant will receive a<br />

memento as our thanks for giving a <strong>Siberian</strong> a good home, and may include a short (30-<br />

word) write-up in the Catalog. To enter, complete the entry form as best as possible, and<br />

attach your rescued dog’s story.<br />

TROPHY FUND DONATIONS<br />

Be part of this successful event by donating to the Trophy Fund. Make your donation by<br />

received by FRIDAY, June 20th, 2008, will be acknowledged in the Catalog. Please note<br />

that any trophy money collected over and above that required for awards will go toward the<br />

purchase of additional raffle prizes for this match or other NCSHC, <strong>Inc</strong>., functions, or will<br />

be used for our Specialty Trophy Fund.

Any individual, kennel, business, etc., may purchase a maximum of two pages of catalog<br />

advertising. All advertising is subject to acceptance and editing by the <strong>Northern</strong> <strong>California</strong><br />

<strong>Siberian</strong> <strong>Husky</strong> <strong>Club</strong>, <strong>Inc</strong>. You can either send your ad complete (camera-ready copy sized<br />

correctly) and we will print it as is (pending application of advertising policy). Or, use the<br />

form elsewhere in this premium book to layout your advertisement. DO NOT USE GLUE,<br />

TAPE, OR PASTE to attach cuts or art to layout form, merely indicate the approximate<br />

Remember that the catalog will be reproduced by photocopying, without half-tone screening,<br />

so the quality of photographs will suffer. If you want to include a photo in your ad, a<br />

previously-screened photograph (one that has been printed elsewhere) will reproduce the<br />

I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient.<br />

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog<br />

judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors,<br />

governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any<br />

provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties,<br />

and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to<br />

have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or<br />

grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I<br />

(we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog.<br />

INSTRUCTIONS<br />

1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the<br />

particular variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13<br />

in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), Bull<br />

Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels<br />

(King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard).<br />

2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions of<br />

Record and dogs which, according to their owners’ records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but<br />

whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to<br />

a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.<br />

3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is<br />

divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your<br />

dog, i.e, age division, color division, weight division.<br />

4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a<br />

registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which<br />

entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate<br />

indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to the<br />

AKC. (For complete rules, refer to Chapter 11, Section 3.)<br />
