This match will be run according to the American Kennel Club Rules and Regulations.
Wins at Sanctioned Matches carry no AKC Championship Points.
No dogs are allowed on the Match Grounds that are not enterable in this Match. Owners
will be required to keep their dogs under control at all time. A catalog will be available, and
a raffle will be held. A food concession will be available on Match Grounds from which
you may purchase snacks and soft drinks.

Winners of the Puppy Conformation Classes will compete for Best of Breed and Best of
Opposite Sex to Best of Breed Puppy; Winners of the Adult Conformation Classes will
compete for Best of Breed Adult and Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed Adult.
NON-REGULAR CLASSES INVOLVING SINGLE-DOG ENTRIES
Veteran Class: Class for dogs & class for bitches seven (7) years or older
Sled Dog Class: Any Siberian Husky, 12 months of age or older, with AKC (or
equivalent) registration
Neuter Class: Neutered Male Siberian Huskies with AKC (or equivalent) registration
Spay Class: Spayed Female Siberian Huskies with AKC (or equivalent) registration
NON-REGULAR CLASSES INVOLVING MULTIPLE-DOG ENTRIES
Brace Class: Two dogs having at least one common owner
Team Class: Four dogs having at least one common owner
JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP
Novice: For boys & girls 8 to 18 years of age, who have never won first place in Novice
Open: For boys & girls 8 to 18 years of age, who have won first place in Novice
ADDITIONAL RULES: Winners of the puppy classes will not compete against winners of
the adult classes for Best of Breed. Champions of Record and dogs with major points may
compete only in Obedience and Veteran Classes, be handled in Junior Showmanship, be
entered as part of a Brace or Team, or be entered in the Spay or Neuter class. Only AKC
registered or equivalent Siberian Huskies are eligible for entry in any of the conformation
classes, brace, team, spay, and neuter classes, or to be handled in Junior Showmanship.
Siberian Huskies with ILP/PALS numbers are eligible for entry only in the Parade of
Rescued Siberian Huskies. Licensed or professional handlers may show their own dogs or
those owned by members of their immediate family, only.
SPECIAL ATTRACTION: PARADE OF RESCUED SIBERIAN HUSKIES
To applaud those who have given homes to homeless Siberian Huskies, the Northern
California Siberian Husky Club, welcomes you to our Parade of Rescued Siberian Huskies.
To be eligible for entry, the dog must have been rescued. Each entrant will receive a
memento as our thanks for giving a Siberian a good home, and may include a short (30-
word) write-up in the Catalog. To enter, complete the entry form as best as possible, and
attach your rescued dog’s story.
TROPHY FUND DONATIONS
Be part of this successful event by donating to the Trophy Fund. Make your donation by

received by FRIDAY, June 20th, 2008, will be acknowledged in the Catalog. Please note
that any trophy money collected over and above that required for awards will go toward the
purchase of additional raffle prizes for this match or other NCSHC, Inc., functions, or will
be used for our Specialty Trophy Fund.

We are very much in need of your raffle donations. The raffle is always one of the high
points of the day, and a good fund-raising activity. We will gladly accept donations of raffle

Any individual, kennel, business, etc., may purchase a maximum of two pages of catalog
advertising. All advertising is subject to acceptance and editing by the Northern California
Siberian Husky Club, Inc. You can either send your ad complete (camera-ready copy sized
correctly) and we will print it as is (pending application of advertising policy). Or, use the
form elsewhere in this premium book to layout your advertisement. DO NOT USE GLUE,
TAPE, OR PASTE to attach cuts or art to layout form, merely indicate the approximate
placement
Remember that the catalog will be reproduced by photocopying, without half-tone screening,
so the quality of photographs will suffer. If you want to include a photo in your ad, a
previously-screened photograph (one that has been printed elsewhere) will reproduce the
best. Remember that photos must be submitted in the size they will be used; we cannot
reduce or enlarge photos. There will be no refunds for ads which do not meet your liking.

OFA, CERF/SHOR number will be used when provided. When numbers are not
provided, it will be so stated. When non-current CERF/SHOR numbers (not from the
current or prior year) are provided, it will be so stated. If adequate information is
included to verify that the advertised Siberian Husky is too young for OFA (two
years) and/or CERF/SHOR (one year), it will be so stated.

AGREEMENT
I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient.
In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog
judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors,
governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any
provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties,
and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to
have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or
grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I
(we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog.
Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned
parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon
any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom,
sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in
consequence of my (our) participation in this event, however such, injuries, death or property damage may be caused, and
whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the

ACTION, CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE ENTRY, EXHIBITION OR
ATTENDANCE AT THE EVENT BETWEEN THE AKC AND THE EVENT-GIVING CLUB (UNLESS OTHERWISE
STATED IN ITS PREMIUM LIST) AND MYSELF (OURSELVES) OR AS TO THE CONSTRUCTION, INTERPRETATION
AND EFFECT OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE SETTLED BY ARBITRATION PURSUANT TO THE APPLICABLE
RULES OF THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION. HOWEVER, PRIOR TO ARBITRATION ALL
APPLICABLE AKC BYLAWS, RULES, REGULATIONS AND PROCEDURES MUST FIRST BE FOLLOWED AS SET

INSTRUCTIONS
1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the
particular variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13
in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), Bull
Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels
(King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard).
2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions of
Record and dogs which, according to their owners’ records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but
whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to
a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.
3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is
divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your
dog, i.e, age division, color division, weight division.
4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a
registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which
entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate
indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to the
AKC. (For complete rules, refer to Chapter 11, Section 3.)
