The <strong>Gateway</strong> <strong>Five</strong> also offers Bluetooth<br />

connectivity for music streaming (via A2DP)<br />

and hands-free mobile call handling, via<br />

the radio or steering wheel controls and<br />

displays your information in the cluster<br />

between the dials.<br />

Control<br />

<strong>Gateway</strong> <strong>Five</strong> incorporates the new<br />

Hotkey functionality, that allows the users<br />

to assign the CD changer buttons to a<br />

desired folder, album, song or menu<br />

position.<br />

The Phone option provides access to the<br />

phone book and the call logs (received,<br />

missed, dialled).<br />

Compatibility<br />

<strong>Gateway</strong> <strong>Five</strong> is currently available<br />

for VW vehicles featuring the RCD 300<br />

and 500 head units, fitted with a text<br />

capable cluster. For full details see the car<br />

compatibility matrix. Further compatibilities<br />

for later model VWs, Audi, Opel and BMW<br />

will be released in the summer of 2010.<br />

Product Option<br />

A basic version of <strong>Gateway</strong> <strong>Five</strong> will be<br />

available with a trial version of the handsfree<br />

support. This product provides 50 free<br />

calls and can then be upgraded via a SW<br />

update to the full version.<br />

Bluetooth music streaming is possible in<br />

both versions.<br />

<strong>Dension</strong> IVA (iPod Video Adapter)<br />

enables you to watch videos from your<br />

iPod or iPhone on a separate screen, either<br />

in a vehicle or at home, while providing<br />

charging to the iPod or iPhone.<br />

The iPod or iPhone connects to the 9<br />

pin connector with the iPod dock cable<br />

provided. IVA has four RCA connectors<br />

providing audio and video.<br />

If your iPod or iPhone can connect to the<br />

internet via Wi-Fi or 3G, you can also watch<br />

YouTube (or other similar) videos, free-view.<br />

TV and other video content on the internet<br />

easy to use cradle.<br />

<strong>Dension</strong> UniMount is the easiest way<br />

possible to mount any lightweight device<br />

for maximum convenience in the car.<br />

There’s no screws, no adhesive and no<br />

magnets involved. The two strips on the<br />

cradle use nano technology to create a<br />

clean vacuum, which any smooth, dry<br />

surface will stick to.<br />

The cradle clips into the air vent using<br />

adjustable clips, meaning no damage to<br />

the vehicle surfaces.<br />

When the cradle starts to lose adhesion,<br />

simply wash in clean water to refresh.<br />

listen to Internet Radio<br />

<strong>Dension</strong> Webradio heralds a revolution<br />

in the way we listen to online<br />

broadcasting.<br />

Webradio<br />

The Webradio is about the size of an<br />

average USB stick, but will combine with<br />

a 3G capable phone (via Bluetooth) to<br />

stream internet radio directly into your<br />

original car radio system.<br />

Set Up<br />

<strong>Dension</strong> are working with Radiotime to<br />

provide access to Internet Radio. You<br />

simply log on to www.radiotime.com<br />

and register your Webradio as a device.<br />

You can then download any MP3 format<br />

internet radio station onto the dongle.<br />

Plug the Webradio into the USB port on<br />

your car or home system and pair it with<br />

your Buetooth 3G phone. Your playlists<br />

will now download, and you then<br />

disconnect and reconnect the Webradio<br />

to activate new playlists.<br />

Control<br />

Each station will appear on your car or<br />

home system as an MP3 file. You can<br />

browse, select and listen to the stations<br />

as if they were normal MP3 music files.<br />

The name of the station will in most<br />

cases (depending on the vehicle) be<br />

displayed in the radio display.<br />
