Consultation<br />

The Immigration Clinic at King Hall School of Law at U.C. Davis offers free consultation on<br />

<strong>immigration</strong> consequences of crimes to defenders in the greater Sacramento area.<br />

The Immigrant Legal Resource Center provides consultation <strong>for</strong> a fee on individual questions<br />

about <strong>immigration</strong> law through its regular attorney of the day services. Questions are answered<br />

within 48 hours or sooner as needed. The <strong>ILRC</strong> has contracts with several private <strong>and</strong> Public<br />

Defender offices. For in<strong>for</strong>mation go to “contract services” at www.ilrc.org or call<br />

415.255.9499.<br />

Staff of the Los Angeles Public Defender office can consult with Graciela Martinez of the<br />

appellate division by contacting her at gmartinez@pubdef.lacounty.gov.<br />

The National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild (Boston) offers consultation.<br />

Contact Dan Kesselbrenner at dan@national<strong>immigration</strong>project.org. The Project is a<br />

membership organization but also will consult with non-members.<br />
