believes the Red King to be asleep, then isn't it the same thing<br />
believing the Red Queen is asleep as believing both are asleep?"<br />
"Not at all," replied Humpty Dumpty decidedly.<br />
"Why not?" asked <strong>Alice</strong>.<br />
"I'll tell you later," replied Humpty Dumpty. "Meanwhile, try<br />

"Question Five—Suppose he believes the Red King and the Red<br />
Queen are both asleep. Does it follow that he believes the Red King<br />
is asleep?"<br />
"I imagine it would," replied <strong>Alice</strong>.<br />
"It doesn't!" said Humpty Dumpty. "Here, try this one:<br />
